Arival transport instructions (PDF) Getting to BrnoBy air-plane and busMost of the flights will be destined to the international airport Prague-Ruzyne. You can book you fly ticket by Student Agency (www.kralovna.cz) online system, travel partner of the conference, with reduced flight ticket rates. You will find full offer of different airlines worldwide. The system communicates at this time only in Czech, but it is so easy (!), that it shouldn’t be a problem. After the booking and payment you will receive an electronic ticket by email or you can use the possibility of prepaid ticket advice (which offers some airlines) and pick up the ticket at your country. On Prague-Ruzyne you will take the yellow Student Agency buses. They sell tickets in a stand right at the airport in the arrival hall. There is a line of stands. Turn right towards the Exit E and search for a stand with yellow buses. The organization is called Student Agency. There will be a sign Buses Prague - Brno. Buy a ticket to Brno. Wait there - the driver will come a couple of minutes before the departure to pick you up and bring you to the bus. Warning: they only accept Czech currency! There is an Exchange office at the airport. The one-way ticket costs CZK 190,- (€ 6,-). They will not probably accept Euros, so remember to get some change at the airport (you will need it anyway)! Transportation from Prague airport to the bus and train stationsTaxi: Attention! Taxi from Prague airport to Prague centre (including the bus and train station) should cost approx. 500 Kč (AAA taxi cars) or at maximum 800 Kč (other taxi cars). Public transport: From Praha-Ruzyně Airport - "Letiště Praha-Ruzyně": To Florenc Bus Station: Take bus N°119 from Letiště Ruzyně to Dejvická (final stop), change to underground line A (green line) from Dejvická to Muzeum (5 stops). Than change to underground line C (red line) from Muzeum to Florenc (2 stops). To Florenc Bus station: Take bus N°100 from Letiště Ruzyně to Zličín (final stop), change to underground line B (yellow line) from Zličín to Florenc (14 stops). When getting out of the undergoroung, follow the signs for transfer to C line (red line). The signs will guide you to the exit next to the bus station. To Main train station: Take bus N°119 from Letiště Ruzyně to Dejvická (final stop), change to underground line A (green line) from Dejvická to Muzeum (5 stops). Than change to underground line C (red line) from Muzeum to Hlavní nádraží (Main train station) (1 stop). Tickets for Prague City Transport: All tickets for Prague City Transport can be used both for underground (metro), tram, and bus and are sold at the airport. Tickets are also available in kiosks and in sale-automats. Ask or look for transfer tickets only. A transfer ticket allows you to change all underground, tram, and bus lines in Prague as you like. However, the validation of these tickets is 75 minutes only (90 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays, or after 8.00 PM in working days). The price of transfer tickets is 20,- CZK.
